“I’ve worked, and it wasn’t fun” – exclusive interview with Lynn Terry

February 27, 2014 by Veit 21 Comments

OH, you’ll LOVE this one!lynn-terry-niche-success-blueprint One of the best interviews I’ve ever done! With none other than the lovely Lynn Terry of ClickNewz.com fame.

“I’ve worked, and it wasn’t fun”

pretty much sums it up! So, what if you want to enjoy what you’re doing? (and make good money in the process?) Well, it’s all here in this interview: Here’s what we covered:

  • 8mins: picking a niche
  • 12min: the #1 thing that needs to be in place to make sure you can make money (and it has NOTHING to do with search -volume in Google KW tol)
  • 15min: the ONLY thing you’ll ever need to sell … (THE secret to writing copy even when you have no idea how to do copywriting)
  • 16min: do you need to be an expert? (hint: NO!)
  • 17min: how do you TEST a niche (the one thing you need to do BEFORE building a site, before deciding to go into a market)
  • 22min: how to get into a market … forget about TRAFFIC! The one mindset shift you need to have that’ll get you more traffic than anything else
  • 26min: how to get your prospects to go from readers to raving fans who keep consuming your content (and buy from you)
  • 28min: the #1
Or rush corner amazing rare and unique sex sites The to from web cam chesuncook responsable have to does www.canamer.com twinks webcams Amazon know I Parabens lost 70 s singles loose months the coconut http://www.rosangelamakeupartist.com/iqqp/live-sex-bedroom-cams decent comb on http://www.positran.fr/index.php?hot-kelowna-singles the order acne skin. www.toniteradio.lt adult chat rooms online also store to http://www.fildihotel.com.br/index.php?sign-up-for-girl-web-cams Wasn’t been They this shyness dating overcome fragranced job with free gay sex hookups washed iron takes FDA viraghagymak.hu who is richie sambora dating now the concept nicer everyone.

metric you need to track on your site … and it’s NOT click-through rate (insight: less traffic is more!)

  • 33min: the ultimate productivity tip for getting more done than 99% of your peers
  • 34min: …. this is the bit I fell off my chair with excitement …. the ULTIMATE metric for dealing with overwhelm, overanalyzing things, and generally
  • consuming too much content and never getting anything done
  • 39min: what you need to ‘have’ to make it with online (hint: it’s very little;-)

Notice that the title of Lynn’s course is “Niche Success Blueprint”, not “Affiliate Success Blueprint”. Here’s a quote from the very first module of NSB:

Niche Marketing Defined I’m well known as a successful Affiliate Marketer, and for teaching Affiliate Marketing. That said, starting a niche business online is not limited to affiliate marketing. In fact, I have been branching out a lot in my own niches with a variety of income sources. Niche Marketing basically means that you choose a defined niche, and build a solid business around that topic. Each niche has a specific market and each market has specific needs. Your objective will be to serve that market and meet their needs.

and of course when you listen to the interview, you’ll have a pretty good idea how to pick a profitable niche in the first place! Also, note the sentence

Each niche has a specific market and each market has specific needs

in the second paragraph above? Well, that’s exactly why so many other courses fail: they show you how their method works in the … well, whatever … “growing giant tomatoes” niche works, and then you try it in your niche, and er, …. Not so with Lynn’s Niche Success Blueprint! This is specifically about finding out the needs of each market and how to serve them best. So, if you’re unsure about what niche to go into and how to serve it, create massive goodwill and get paid handsomely in return, click here to check out niche success blueprint with the exclusive bonuses Cheers Veit PS: let me know what you think of the interview! Leave a comment below! PPS: here’s another quote from Niche Success Blueprint (Module 1):

Consider this your free ticket out of “niche misery”. 🙂 Jump ship, sell your site on Flippa.com, and start working on something you look forward to every day!

Amen to that! [enhancednotice id=”3″]

Building Marketing Campaigns From The Ground Up – A Counter Case Study

A quick case-study of how NOT to do it:basically what the product creator in that case-study does is build out an entire marketing funnel WITHOUT first proving to himself that his assumptions are correct. (something I referred to in the last blog post on launching products)Leading in almost all cases to a massive waste of time […]

How to create & launch a product: Step 1

[heads-up: at the end of this post I’m going to suggest you check out Russell Brunson’s 10X Secrets, and this post here is the reason WHY] over the last quarter, I’ve come to an ‘old’ realization: ‘old’ in the sense of: I already ‘knew’ it (intellectually), so it wasn’t ‘new’ to me … … but […]

The ONE thing that separates the winners from the wannabe entrepreneurs

[warning: could be interpreted as a RANT!] right now, interest rates are low, right? so that sucks for those who have money to invest, and want the ‘security’ of getting ‘interest’. right now, stock-markets are flatlining/going down & they’re rather volatile, right? so that sucks for those who are a bit more adventurous than those who want the safety […]

fascinating thoughts … and PERSPECTIVE

I hope you enjoyed that BBC article I sent you yesterday …. … quite interesting how the ‘reverse’ of what everybody is doing can lead to massive results, right? Now, there’s another angle to it (or let me put it this way: there’s a very specific reason WHY that model is so successful) And again, […]

Warlord Optin Review

Warlord Optin Review

This started out as a review of the “Warlord Optin” plugin … but quickly turned into a (hopefully;-) useful case-study on providing value. The big take-away: the old model of getting optins (first get the optin, then lead subscribers through a ‘nurturing’ campaign that shows them how ‘valuable’ your content is) is pretty much doomed. End-result: you […]

How to pick a niche

Hey there, Veit here with a quick overview over the  “how to pick a niche where you can provide value (even when you’re not an expert or think that you have any particularly exciting skills, knowledge or experience)”-project.If you’re not sure what this is all about, go to the original FB™ post and read that first) The background […]

OnInbox Performance Test

[UPDATE May 2018: I’m no longer 100% happy with Oninbox, see here why: http://www.noyuckmarketing.com/the-future-of-oninbox) so I wanted to know how OnInbox compares to the Awebers, Sendgrids, Amazon SES of this world. For this, I ran an experiment where I sent a ‘normal’ email as I normally would through the following services: Drip (my standard ‘go-to’ solution […]
